Abstract:
γδ T cells for ensuring a purity and number of cells sufficient for treatment are provided. Furthermore, a production method for said γδ T cells is provided. More specifically, provided are excellent γδ T cells that are uniform γδ T cells and are not affected by cell exhaustion. These γδ T cells are obtained by differentiation induction treatment of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS cells). Specifically, γδ T cells are produced by differentiation induction treatment of iPS cells (γδ TCR-type iPS cells) having a rearranged γδ TCR gene. With this production method for γδ T cells, it is possible to provide γδ T cells and γδ T cell populations which have excellent function with antigen-specific cytotoxic activity in an MHC-unrestricted manner, and which are uniform and effective compared to γδ T cells isolated from peripheral blood.
