Abstract:
The disclosed table device makes it possible to use a table at just the right height without said table hitting the legs or the like of a user when said user pulls the table towards himself. The top (21) of the table (20) is supported by a travelling member (12) that travels along side rails (10). Thus, with the table stowed, when the user pulls the bottom of the table (20) towards himself, making the table rotate upwards, the center of said rotation moves downwards along the side rails (10). Thus, even if the top (21) of the table (20), when stowed, is located higher than in conventional table devices, the height of the table when in a roughly horizontal in-use state is just right, and the table is prevented from contacting the user's legs when the bottom of the table (20) is rotated upwards.
