Abstract:
A table plug box, and a method for accommodating plugs (51, 52) passing through a tabletop (4) wiring through-hole and the wires thereof, said table plug box comprising a wire barrel (1), and a first plug retaining component (21) and a second plug retaining component (22) capable of combining into one piece, and detachably mounted in the wire barrel (1). Said first and second plug retaining components (21, 22) are respectively processed with at least one pair of first locking grooves (261, 271) and at least one pair of second locking groove (262, 272), said first locking grooves (261, 271) and second locking grooves (262, 272) matching one another. When the first and second plug retaining components (21, 22) are mounted in the wire barrel (1), the matching first locking grooves (261, 271) and second locking grooves (262, 272) together form plug retaining through-holes running through the first and second plug retaining components (21, 22); in addition, said plug retaining through-holes can prevent the plugs (51, 52) from passing through, while allowing the wires connected to said plugs (51, 52) to pass through. Decreasing unnecessary reinsertion of plugs and the wires thereof provides users with convenient use, improving user experience; when a plug and the wire thereof are not in use, the plug and wire can remain accommodated, and the tabletop can remain clear.
