Abstract:
A table-top cutting machine adapted to be able to slide a cutting machine body forward and backward so that the machine can cut a large-sized material to be cut. A rear installation space can be reduced by configuring the cutting machine in such a manner that a slide bar of a slide mechanism for slidably supporting the cutting machine body is fixed and the bearing side is adapted to be movable. However, a conventional problem of the above configuration is that the fixed bar obstructs work. A table-top cutting machine of the invention has a reduced rear installation space and provides good workability by making the edge of a blade more easily visible.
A cutting machine body (10) has a large slide distance provided by slide mechanisms (20, 40) arranged in two stages in the vertical direction. The slide mechanism (40) having a pattern (2) in which a slide bar (42) is fixed is used for the upper stage. The configuration reduces the rear installation space of the slide mechanism (40) and ensures good visibility of the edge of a blade.
