CLAIMS
1. A table utensil with thermostatic increase of the temperature, for spreading and/or cutting butter and similar solidified food, characterized in: a blade or paletteknife (1) of metal, plastic or other kind having incorporated or applied the electric resistence (2), and being provided with a means (3) for a joint, screwing or release insertion into the corresponding opening (4) of handle (5); a handle (5) having incorporated the electric feeding elements of the resistence (2); a thermostat (6) for the adjusting of the achieved temperature and therefore of the mechanical resistence of the butter to be spread and/or of the food to be cut; an accumulator battery (7), incorporated inside the handle (5) and that can be easly replaced, preferably of the kind that can be recharged with a plug (8) or similar, incorporated inside handle (5); a switch (9) with a working light (10), both incorporated inside handle ( 5 ) .
2. A table utensil according to claim 1, characterized in that said thermostat (6) keeps the temperature of the electric resistence (2), and therefore of the blade (1), constant, around 40° so as to determine the malleability of butter.
3. A table utensil according to claim 1, characterized in that said thermostat (6) is tared onto very high temperatures for cutting icrecrea s and frozed food.
4. A table utensil according to claim 1 , characterized in the presence, at the front end of said blade (1), of heated, end and curved projections, heated up by the internal resistance (2), for allowing the removal of butter pieces from a solid butter block.
5. A table utensil according to claim 1, characterized in a toothing and structure of the blade (1), to allow with a high temperature of the thermostat (6) the cutting of frozen food.
Description:
" A TABLE UTE N-S IL WITH THERMO STAT I C TEMPERATURE INCREASE , FOR SPREADING AND/OR CUTTING SOL IDIFIED BUTTER AND OTHER FOOD"

The present invention concerns a table utensil comprising incorporated means for determining the temperature increase of a palette-kni e or a metal blade or of any other kind, for spreading butter onto canapes or similar and/or cutting food solidified by freezing.

The present invention has come to respond to the need of spreading onto canapes and similar pieces of butter which is usually kept in the refrigerator and therefore hard.

In a possible variant the utensil according to the present invention is useful for cutting into portions food at a low temperature, like icecream, "semifreddo" and all that can be frozen in containers for more than one single portion.

Above mentioned needs can be completely solved by means of the utensil according to the present invention, comprising means for an autonomous electric heating up of the palette-knife or blade, with a thermostatic control of the temperature, so as to

7

increase the temperature of the spread butter without thereby varying the organoleptic features of the food, as well as means for removing the blade from the handle carrying the electric feeding means , for allowing the periodical cleaning of the components used.

The utensil according to the present invention shows many and considerable advantages :

- it allows to spread portions of butter, placed on the table at a low temperature, onto soft supports like toast-bread and similar , increasing their malleability;

- it increases the quickness in preparing canapέs and similar in hotels, public and privat places;

- it allows to separate icecreams and " semifreddoes " into exact portions, without requesting a previous partial defreezing;

- it allows to cut ' any kind of frozen food.

The present invention will be described in detail hereinbelow according to the enclosed drawings in which a preferred embodiment is shown.

Figure 1 shows an axonometric view of a table utensil with thermostatic increase of the. temperature for

spreading and/or cutting butter and other little malleable, solidified food, according to the present invention.

Figure 2 shows an exploded, transparency view of the components of the utensil shown in figure 1.

Figure 3 shows a scheme of the electric circuit for the utensil according to the present invention.

The enclosed figuers show a table utensil with a thermostatic temperature increase, for spreading and/or cutting butter and other solidified, little malleable food, comprising:

- a blade or palette-knife 1 of metal, plastic or other kind having incorporated or applied the electric resistence 2, and being provided with a means 3 for a joint, screwing or release insertion into the corresponding opening 4 of handle 5;

- a handle 5 having incorporated the electric feeding elements of the resistence 2;

- a thermostat 6 for the adjusting of the achieved temperature and therefore of the mechanical resistence of the butter to be spread and/or of the food to be cut;

- an accumulator battery 7, incorporated inside the handle 5 and that can be easly replaced, preferably

of the kind that can be re-charged with a plug 8 or similar, incorporated inside handle 5; a switch 9 with a working light 10, both incorporated inside handle 5.

In possible variants according to the present invention, the temperature adjusted by the thermostat 6 may be maintained around 40°C for allowing the malleability of the butter, and may be higher for a knife with toothing, for solid frozen food, like icecreams and similar.

For what concerns the shape of the blade or palette- knife 1, the latter may show in the front part a curved end, always heated by the internal resistance, so as to allow to take only small piece of butter.
