Abstract:
A first score mark camera captures images of one of the faces of a plurality of tablets which are conveyed by a conveyance drum. When the tablets are transferred from the conveyance drum to a first conveyance belt, all of the tablets are inverted with the orientations thereof preserved. A second score mark camera captures images of the other of the faces of the plurality of tablets which are conveyed by the first conveyance belt. On the basis of image data of both the obverse and reverse surfaces of the plurality of tablets which are acquired by the first score mark camera and the second score mark camera, a first inkjet head carries out an obverse face printing process in a prescribed direction upon the obverse faces of the tablets along the obverse face score marks, and a second inkjet head carries out a reverse face printing process upon the reverse faces of the tablets in the same direction along the reverse faces as the prescribed direction.
