Abstract:
This invention provides a method for compressing a powdery material into tablets
with a roll compression molding machine comprising two pressure rolls, which
are cylindrical, are directed in an identical direction and face each other,
and each are rotatable inward. When one of the two pressure rolls has a tabletting
recess on its outer circumferential face, the outer circumferential speed of
the pressure roll with this recess is lower than the recess-free pressure roll.
When two pressure rolls have a tabletting recess on their respective outer circumferential
faces, the two pressure rolls are rotated so that the outer circumferential speeds
of the two pressure rolls are different from each other to compress mold the powdery
material into tablets to mold tablets free from burrs with good dimensional accuracy.
