Abstract:
This tableware washing machine is provided with: a case body (31) having a front face opening (32) in the front surface thereof; a tableware basket (47) which is for housing tableware and which is provided inside the case body (31) so as to be movable in and out of the case body; a door (40) that covers the front face opening (32); a support mechanism by which the door (40) is supported on the case body (31) so as to be movable forward and backward; a drive device (51) having a drive motor (52) which moves the door (40); and a control unit (44) which controls the drive device (51). The control unit (44) is configured to stop the drive device (51) when a load equal to or greater than a prescribed level is exerted on the door (40) or the drive motor (52). Due to this configuration, the present invention is able to provide a user-friendly tableware washing machine.
