Abstract:
The present invention relates to a tactile interface device and a tactile interface method for allowing a visually impaired person to interact with a computer more intuitively and efficiently using the sense of touch in a way similar to the way an ordinary person uses a computer. The tactile interface device according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a tactile display unit for providing tactile information to a user by means of multiple pins on the basis of data received from a connected external device or data generated in the tactile interface device; and an input sensing unit for sensing a user input.
