Abstract:

A tactile recognition system is provided. The tactile recognition system comprises: a storage unit for matching tactile data to feature information and storing the same; a sensing unit for sensing the surface characteristic of an object so as to generate a sensing signal; an extraction unit for extracting sensing information from the sensing signal generated by the sensing unit; and a matching unit for extracting a piece of feature information, which is matched to the sensing information among the feature information stored in the storage unit, so as to extract a piece of tactile data which corresponds to the piece of feature information among the tactile data.
