Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a tactile sensation control system and a tactile sensation control method with which a user can perform operations with good usability without requiring the user to focus his/her line of sight on a display screen when performing the operation. This tactile sensation control system controls the user's tactile sensation when an operation is performed with respect to an operation surface of a touch panel or a touch pad. This system is equipped with: an operation detection unit that detects a user operation with respect to the operation surface; and a tactile sensation control unit that controls the tactile sensation of the operation surface such that the tactile sensation of a region receiving the user operation detected by the operation detection unit or the tactile sensation of a region that follows the movement of the user operation changes over time.
