Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a tactile sensation provision system and tactile sensation provision device which are capable of providing a desirable tactile sensation to a plurality of fingers. Provided is a tactile sensation provision system, comprising an electronic device and a tactile sensation provision device. The tactile sensation provision device further comprises: a plurality of mounting parts which is mounted upon a plurality of fingers; a plurality of oscillation elements which is disposed upon a plurality of portions corresponding to pads of the plurality of fingers whereupon the plurality of mounting parts is mounted; sensors which detect a contact of the plurality of fingers upon a manipulation screen; and a second control unit which is capable of data communication with a first control unit. Upon receiving a notification signal from the second control unit which represents that the contact of the fingers has been detected by the sensors, the first control unit: derives, on the basis of data which represents the fingers the contact of which is detected with the sensors and coordinates which are detected by a coordinate detecting unit, which of the fingers are in contact with the manipulation screen and the coordinates at which the fingers make contact with the manipulation screen; and generates a drive signal which represents a tactile sensation according to the data which represents the fingers, the coordinates at which the fingers make contact with the manipulation screen, and an image which is displayed in a display unit. Using the drive signal, the second control unit drives the oscillation elements.
