Abstract:
Provided is a tactile sensing system, wherein a sensor unit of a tactile sensor is provided in a gripping unit of a robot and outputs a plurality of signals corresponding to a plurality of respective first electrodes facing a second electrode. An output unit calculates a pressure value of each of a plurality of pressure detecting positions within a contact surface with a workpiece of the sensor unit on the basis of all or some of the plurality of signals, and outputs pressure distribution data. In addition, the output unit calculates one intensive shear force value for the entire contact surface on the basis of the all or some of the plurality of signals to output data of the intensive shear force.
