Abstract:
A tactile sensor device accurately measuring the hardness of an object. A sensor body
(4) is connected to an air pressure source (6) through an air pipe line (8). Air
pressure regulation means (10) is provided in the air pipe line (8). A semiconductor strain
detection element (12) provided at a diaphragm (26) of the sensor body (4) outputs,
by operation of the air pressure regulation means (10), a voltage corresponding
to the hardness of the object (36). A signal processing circuit (14) extracts
a value relating to the hardness of the object (36) from the output value and outputs
the result.
