Abstract:
The present invention relates to a tail pipe structure for a muffler, in which the tail pipe structure occupies less space in the muffler and extends an exhaust gas discharge path. The tail pipe structure for a muffler according to the present invention comprises: a first pipe member arranged within a muffler casing; a second pipe member arranged within the first pipe member such that the second pipe member is spaced apart from the first pipe member in an inner diameter direction; and a third pipe member arranged within the second pipe member such that the third pipe member is spaced apart from the second pipe member in an inner diameter direction, the third pipe member having a discharge opening opened toward an outer surface of the muffler casing. The first pipe member, the second pipe member and the third pipe member are arranged into a concentric circle having the same axis. A first discharge space is formed between an inner surface of the first pipe member and an outer surface of the second pipe member. A second discharge space is formed between an inner surface of the second pipe member and an outer surface of the third pipe member. A third discharge space is formed within the third pipe member. Exhaust gas passes in the order of the first discharge space, the second discharge space and the third discharge space, and is discharged to the outside through the discharge opening of the third pipe member.
