Title:
TAMPER INDICATING SEAL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2006/075387
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A tamper indicating seal capable of securely indicating the presence or absence of tampering by preventing the dishonest alteration of the tampering indicating seal stamped at a portion to be sealed. In the dishonest alteration which must be prevented, first the tampering indicating seal is cut along an unsealing mouth with a cutter for unsealing. Then, the seal is applied thereto again and a transparent seal for dishonest alteration is stamped thereon to cover the cut part to make the unsealing difficult. Specifically, a rupture layer (2) is formed on the rear surface of a seal base material (1). Tampering is indicated by making the rupture layer (2) breakable when the seal base material (1) is peeled off. Also, a non-bonding treated layer (4) is formed as an outermost layer. By the non-bonding treated layer (4), the seal for dishonest alteration is prevented from being stuck on the seal to alter a tampering indication by the rupture layer (2).
