Abstract:
A tampering detection system according to an embodiment is provided with: one or more first terminals that are connectable to any of one or more peers; and the one or more detection devices. The first terminals each are provided with: an acquisition unit that acquires from the peer a block hash included in a block chain; and a transmission unit that transmits to the peer a first transaction record that includes first signature target data including the block hash and data based on transaction contents of the first terminal and further includes an electronic signature of the first signature target data. The detection devices each is provided with: a reception unit that receives the block chain from the peer; and a detection unit that detects tampering of the block chain when the electronic signature included in the first transaction record included in a block of the block chain is not valid or when the block hash that is the same as the block hash included in the first transaction record included in the block is not included in the block chain.
