Abstract:
This tank container 1 comprises: a tank 41 for storing a liquefied gas, a frame 43 for holding the tank 41, liquid piping 47 connected to the tank 41, a pressurized cargo lifting device 45 which is connected to the liquid piping 47 and vaporizes the liquefied gas, and a return gas pipe 51 which connects the pressurized cargo lifting device 45 and a tank upper section 77 higher than the liquid surface Lu of the liquefied gas during a fully loaded state of the tank 41, the tank container being removably mounted on the liquefied gas fuel ship 100 and supplying the liquefied gas. The tank container 1 comprises: a branch gas pipe 53 which is connected to the return gas pipe 51 and supplies vaporized liquefied gas into the ship; and a heater 55 which is provided midway of the branch gas pipe 53 and heats the vaporized liquefied gas, wherein a connection part 79 between the return gas pipe 51 and the branch gas pipe 53 is at a position higher than the liquid surface Lu. Accordingly, a tank container can be provided which can supply stored liquefied gas into a liquefied gas fuel ship only in a gas state.
