A circuit housing section (12) formed integrally above a lid body section (11) is provided with: a bottom section (121) provided adjacent to the lid body section (11) with a vent space (124) therebetween; a side section (122) for surrounding a protective space (120) for a drive circuit (13) above the bottom section (121); and a vent hole (126) provided in the side section (122) and passing between the protective space (120) and an outer space (3). The intermediate section (152) of a terminal (15), the intermediate section (152) extending between a fuel pump and the drive circuit (13) through the bottom section (121), is embedded in the bottom section (121), and the interface (121d) between the bottom section (121) and the intermediate section (152) is exposed to the protective space (120) above the vent hole (126). A liquid-impermeable and gas-permeable membrane (19) is mounted to the outer surface (122b) of the side section (122) to cover the vent hole (126). The liquid-impermeable and gas-permeable membrane (19) permits fuel vapor to be discharged from the vent hole (126) to the outer space (3) and prevents liquid from entering the vent hole (126) from the outer space (3).
