Abstract:
The invention relates to a tank system (1), particularly for a fuel supply system or an exhaust emission control system of a motor vehicle, comprising - a container (2) having a container bottom (3); - a fluid inlet (4) and a fluid outlet (5) provided in the container (2) for feeding liquid (11) into and discharging liquid from the container (2), respectively; and - a sedimentation assistance device (14) provided in the container (2) for the sedimentation of contaminant particles (12) from the liquid (11) introduced into the container (2).
