Abstract:
Provided is a tap changer which is compact and for which the maintenance interval is prolonged. The tap changer comprises: a first terminal T1 and a second terminal T2 that are connected to a tap winding 1 of a stationary induction electric device; a first semiconductor switch SR1 that is connected between the first terminal T1 and a neutral point terminal N of the stationary induction electric device; a second semiconductor switch SR2 that is connected between the second terminal T2 and the neutral point terminal N; a third semiconductor switch SR3 that is connected in parallel with the second semiconductor switch SR2 between the second terminal T2 and the neutral point terminal N; and a resistor R that is connected between the third semiconductor switch SR3 and the neutral point terminal N.
