Abstract:
To provide a tap holder corresponding to the main shaft of a machine tool in which
even if an error occurs in the synchronization of the axial feeding and the rotation
of the tapper body and the tap collect, the error can be absorbed by a simple structure.
The tap holder is characterized in that, in its portion where the tapper body
(20) is overlapped with the tap collet (50), a lock member (70) is inserted through
the tapper body (20) and the tap collet (50), and the lock member (70) is engaged
with at least one of the tap collet (50) and the tapper body (20) with an elastic
body (78) interposed on both sides in the axial direction (X), and thereby securing
the tap collect (50) to the tapper body (20).
