The invention relates to providing flow of fluid by a tap through which fluid flows when tap is in open position by touching with finger the button on its tip or cutting the flow of fluid in the same way when tap is in closed position by touching with finger the button on its tip. The resulting device can be named "tap with on/off button on its tip".
Systems with gaskets that are squeezed by rotating in the core of balance wheels, are used widespread in taps and batteries and water loss which is caused by fast wear of rubber gaskets in the gaskets of this system, water loss occurring from the start of rotating of balance wheels till the closure and anti-hygienic environment caused by hand contact with balance wheel are the main reasons why this system has been designed. The aim is to eliminate these problems with the present invention.
Generally, taps without balance wheel are used widespread as being open, in other words providing fluid flow as long as an arm is touched or pressed upon. What they have in common is that they have a mechanic working system. The negative side of them is that the system stays open as long as force is applied. Their mechanic parts are not on the tip of tap but generally as in the normal taps, they are positioned on body or on the water inlet part of the tap. Also there are taps which starts when pressed upon and after a while stops automatically. When much water is needed, it should be pressed again in order to provide water flow. Also they cause problem in water pressure changes. There are also photocell taps. They are used widespread, their photocells being fixed upon the tip of taps or fixed upon body. In these types, continuous energy need is provided through lavatory faucet or electric lines. When detecting movement or object, sensors deliver signal to electrical on/off balance wheel. Then, in accordance with the order of operation, balance wheels make on/off. There are many disadvantages such as breaking down easily, use of various instruments at the same time, being expensive, obligation of electric use, being dangerous in leakage and difficulties of assembly. Despite many disadvantages, they are preferred because of their simplicity about on/off. With the present invention, it is aimed to overcome the above-mentioned technical problems. In the mechanism which is the subject of the invention, the flow of fluid inside tap can be provided by pressing the button and it can be stopped as well in the same way. The mechanism part can both be fixed as a ready-made part upon the tip of present taps and can be produced in new models completely as tap with on/off button on its tip. Also it can be used with a small coupled part in batteries. With this design, particularly savings and hygiene (suitability for health) are taken into consideration.
Namely;
Since there is button on the tip of tap, it becomes easier to touch the button without fingers. Particularly in public places, after washing hands, touching the part which is opened by dirty hands is not wanted, however these parts are held after being washed. After pressing on button, the touched spot is washed through flowing water. So the closure can be made by touching a cleaner surface. With this feature, the provision of being suitable for health will be provided.
In normal taps during the time when hands are brought under the tap after opening and during the time between the completion of washing and closure, there is loss of water no less than one glass. Another waste of water is water pressure. When pressure cannot be adjusted, this causes waste of water. On/off button on the tip of tap results in stable flow speed and hand being ready under water results in no loss of water. As a result of all the explanations made above, the system can be named "TAP WITH ON/OFF BUTTON ON ITS TIP".

When on/off button (FIGURE -2-) (1) is pressed in the direction of arrow (when force is applied), the device which is fixed on the tip of the tap through which fluid flows (FIGURE-1-) (I) pushes upwards the bouncing cylinder (2), on/off cylinder (3), latch shaft (4), latch (5) and spring (6), at the same time on/off cylinder rotating around itself is fixed on the channel where it is positioned with the threads on its body and it releases the fluid (ab) in its fixed position (FIGURE -1-) (II). When pressed again in the direction of arrow with force (G), it pushes upwards the bouncing cylinder (2), on/off cylinder (3), latch shaft (4), latch (5) and spring (6), whereas on/off cylinder rotating around itself, going out from the channel with the threads on its body and with thrust of spring and fluid, by pressing downwards with force of spring and fluid to the latch orifice with o ring (7 2 ), it cuts (1) the flow (ab) of fluid (a) (b). It is seen that when pressed upwards, fluid has a flow, when pressed downwards flow is cut. Because of this characteristic, water till the time when hand is brought under tap is saved. The same operation also provides savings during closure. Also pressing the button which is washed constantly with clean water provides suitability to health (hygiene).
Thanks to the rotatable head of the device (FIGURE 1) (I) 1 it can be rotated into the directions of (w), (x), (y) and (z). With this characteristic, it is possible to clean sinks without hand touch, by spraying water (II).
By turning to left and right with Hot-Cold bolt (FIGURE 2) (11 i), temperature of water can be adjusted as desired (FIGURE 3).
By turning to left or right with flow rate stabilizing apparatus (FIGURE 2) (14), flow rate can be fixed as desired. This characteristic is for using water just as needed by saving water, particularly in communal life spaces.
All characteristics can be used together in a tap or lavatory faucet as desired (FIGURE 2), as well as, hot-cold preference bolt (FIGURE 2) (A) or flow rate stabilizing apparatus (FIGURE 2) (C) can be used with closure mechanism (FIGURE 2) (B) as coupled respectively.
