Abstract:
A second tape feeding mechanism (20B) has a biasing mechanism (25) which can run idle only in a first rotational direction and which engages a carrier tape (14) with a sprocket (21B) by biasing the carrier tape (14) towards the sprocket (21B). While a leading tape (14(1)) is engaged with the sprocket (21B), the front part of a subsequent tape (14(2)) is inserted between the sprocket (21B) and the leading tape (14(1)), the leading tape (14(1)) is biased by means of the biasing mechanism, and the subsequent tape (14(2)) is engaged with the sprocket (21B).
