Abstract:
In a tape feeder (11), a radio frequency tag (22) in which identification information for components contained in component feeder tape (14) has been written is attached to the inner circumferential surface of a take-up cylindrical section (21) of a reel (15) for the component feeder tape (14), and an antenna (27) of a reader (26) for reading the component identification information from the radio frequency tag (22) is attached to a center shaft section (24) of a reel holder (13) to which the take-up cylindrical section (21) of the reel (15) is fitted. The antenna (27) is provided along the entire circumference of the center shaft section (24). The component identification information read through the antenna (27) of the reader (26) is used to determine whether or not areel (15) with the correct component feeder tape (14) is set in the reel holder (13) of the tape feeder (11).
