Abstract:
A control device for a tape feeder comprises: a step-out detection unit that detects step-out of a stepping motor; a storage unit that stores a target angle for a sprocket for positioning one of a plurality of cavities at a supply unit; and a restoration processing unit that executes an origin point alignment for supplying pulse power to the stepping motor when step-out of the stepping motor is detected by the step-out detection unit so that the sprocket reaches a prescribed angle, supplies the pulse power to the stepping motor in accordance with the current angle and the target angle of the sprocket after the origin-point alignment is completed, and moves the one cavity of the plurality of cavities to the supply unit.
