Abstract:
A tape feeder (10) to be attached to a feeder set section (31) in a component mounter, the tape feeder comprising a feeder body (11), a reel holder (13) for loading a tape reel (12) having a component supply tape wound therearound, and a reel displacement mechanism (41, 42) holding the reel holder displaceably in the width direction relative to the feeder body. A bumper (61) is provided at the end of the feeder body in the attachment direction with the bumper projecting in the attachment direction, and when a subsequent tape feeder is to be attached adjacent to a previous tape feeder attached to the feeder set section in the component mounter, the bumper of the subsequent tape feeder first comes in contact with the end of the reel holder of the previous tape feeder in the detachment direction and displaces the reel holder of the previous tape feeder in the width direction.
