[PROBLEMS] To eliminate adverse effects caused by low responsiveness in tape tension control. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A tape feeding device has a first roller (102) on which a backing tape (101) is wound; a feeding roller drive shaft (60) for driving the first roller (102); a pressing roller drive shaft (12) for applying drive force to the backing tape (101) to pay out the backing tape (101) from the first roller (102); a dancer roller (61) provided so as to be able to advance and retreat in a crossing direction that crosses the direction of conveyance of the backing tape (101) paid out by the drive force; an air cylinder (62) advancing and retracting the dancer roller (61) in the crossing direction; and a tension control section (30B) for controlling the air cylinder based on tension of the backing tape (101) paid out.
