Abstract:
Disclosed is a tape measure having: a housing; a reel rotatably provided inside the housing; a blade drawn-out through the slit of the housing; and an end hook provided on an end part of the blade, and the tape measure can include: a cantilever clip having a fixed end, which is fixed on a side surface of the housing, and a free end corresponding to the fixed end; and a rotation type ring member having a rotation body rotatably provided on the housing or the cantilever clip so as to be switched from a closed state to an opened state, wherein at least a part of the rotation body is supported by the cantilever clip on the cantilever clip with respect to the housing in the closed state, such that the rotation type ring member can be spaced from the side surface of the housing together with the cantilever clip by an external structure entering in between the housing and the cantilever clip.
