Abstract:

Disclosed are a stop piece for an end portion of a ruler, comprising a connecting portion extending horizontally and connected to the end portion and a lower stop portion extending downwardly from the connecting portion, and further comprising a hook portion extending upward from the connecting portion, so that the rule can be used to conveniently measure a pipe and a cable and perform length measurement from the top or bottom of an object. The stop piece of the present invention is more stable than a planar hook, and during use, especially during measurement of a relatively long object, unexpected detachment becomes more difficult; the cost is also relatively low, and tape assembly is also not affected. The present invention further provides a tape measure having the stop piece.
