Abstract:
This invention relates to a tape player which is directed to simplify mechanical portions, to reduce the number of components and eventually, to make mechanical assembly efficient and to make an apparatus compact. This tape player includes four pins movable in their corresponding grooves disposed in one disc-like cam, and a lever operating in the interlocking arrangement with the movement of these pins. Loading and discharging operations of a cassette tape, the moving operation of a head base, the switch operation of a travelling direction at the time of reproduction and transmission of a driving force to a reel rest at the time of fast-forward are selectively executed by the operation of this lever.
