Abstract:
This tape recovery device is provided in a component mounting device for removing and mounting a component from a tape being supplied by means of a feeder, and recovers a used tape that has been ejected from the feeder and cut. The tape recovery device is provided with: a transfer unit which transfers a used tape and a component that has failed to be removed from the tape; a suction unit which generates a suction force due to negative pressure; a classification unit which is disposed at a transfer edge of the transfer unit, includes a suction opening for the suction unit, and causes the tape that has been transferred by the transfer unit to be suctioned into the suction opening while causing the component that has been transferred by the transfer unit to drop; a component recovery unit which recovers the component that has been dropped by the classification unit; and a tape container unit which contains the tape suctioned by the suction unit.
