Abstract:

A tape splicing device (10) feeds tapes (2) in sequence and connects a next tape (2B) to a previous tape (2A). The tape splicing device (10) is provided with: a reel conveyor (30) that holds a plurality of reels (1) around which the tapes (2) are wound and that intermittently conveys the reels (1) in sequence to a predetermined supply position (P); a tape joining machine (90) that is provided downstream of the supply position (P) and that joins the previous tape (1A) reeled out from one of the reels (1) which has arrived the supply position (P) earlier, to the next tape (2B) reeled out from another one of the reels (1) which has next arrived the supply position (P); and a path length adjustment unit (70) which is provided downstream of the tape joining machine (90) and which adjusts a path length of the previous tape (2A) to be short until the tape joining machine (90) has joined the previous tape (2A) to the next tape (2B).
