Abstract:
A tapered applicator for a cervix, used for the sampling, wiping, and application of a cervix and secretions thereof, and having a tapered medical foam head and a handle which is mounted vertically on the tapered medical foam head. The tapered medical foam head comprises a hollow tapered foam head (1) having an expanded circular disk, and a fibre core guide portion (3) capable of moving up and down is mounted in the hollow tapered foam head (1). A handle rod member comprises a sheath tube (2), a push rod (4) inserted in the sheath tube (2), and a pushing ring seat (6) sleeved on the lower portion of the sheath tube (2); the bottom end of the push rod (4) is connected to the fibre core guide portion (3) by means of a spring (8); an L-shaped through groove (4a), a vertical through groove (2a), and a pin hole (6a), which match each other in an aligned manner, are respectively provided on the push rod (4), the sheath tube (2), and the pushing ring seat (6) and combine the push rod (4), the sheath tube (2), and the pushing ring seat (6) together by means of a pin shaft (9); four supporting points, which are directed vertically along the direction of the handle rod member, are symmetrically provided on the outer periphery of the pushing ring seat (6). The applicator has a proper structure, is easy to operate, can perform positioning, and is comfortable to use.
