Abstract:
Tapered bristles including: a tapered bristle-element assembly in which three to ten resinous tapered bristle elements, each having a tapered part at the distal end, are disposed adjacent to each other; and a resinous covering part for covering all or a part of the side surface of the tapered bristle elements so as to join and integrate the side surfaces of the tapered bristle elements to each other. The covering part covers all or a part of the side surfaces of the tapered bristle elements excluding the tapered parts, and joins the side surfaces. The outer edge part of a portion of each of the tapered bristle elements excluding the tapered parts protrudes outside the covering part.
