Abstract:
The invention relates to a tapered roller bearing which is designed as a wheel bearing of a truck, for example. The tapered roller bearing according to the invention comprises a first bearing ring (01) having a conical first track (06). The first track (06) has a profile which is used, inter alia, to prevent edge wear and similar effects. The height of the profile has a maximum at a center point (09) of the profile and decreases starting from the maximum at least in the direction of a larger diameter (08) of the first track (06). The tapered roller bearing according to the invention further comprises a second bearing ring which can be rotated with respect to the first bearing ring (01) and has a conical second track and tapered rolls (02). According to the invention, the height of the profile of the first track (06) decreases starting from the maximum in the direction of the larger diameter (08) of the first track (06) at a greater slope than starting from the maximum in the direction of a smaller diameter (07) of the first track (06).
