Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a tapered roller bearing (1) provided with an inner ring (2) having a tapered raceway surface (2a) in the outer peripheral surface, an outer ring (3) having a tapered raceway surface (3a) in the inner peripheral surface, a plurality of tapered rollers (4) that roll between the raceway surface (2a) and the raceway surface (3a), and a holding implement (5) for holding the tapered rollers (4) so that the rollers are free to roll in a pocket section, the inner ring (2) having a structure in which no small ridge is formed in a small-diameter end, the holding implement (5) having a guiding part (5f) and fallout-preventing parts (5d, 5e) for the tapered rollers (4) in a pocket section (6), and the tapered rollers (4) being incorporated into the pocket section (6) and integrated with the holding implement (5) through the elastic deformation of the fallout-preventing parts (5d, 5e). The present invention thereby makes it possible to prevent the rollers from falling out when assembled in a structure having no small ridge, to give the bearing a higher load capacity, and to reduce the size of the bearing.
