Abstract:
Even when a tapered roller bearing is used under strict lubrication conditions, the present invention smoothly rotates the bearing by preventing sudden temperature rise thereof. In order to do so, this tapered roller bearing is configured such that, when an intersection point between a virtual line obtained by extending a generatrix of an orbital plane (11) toward a grinding undercut (13) and a virtual line obtained by extending a generatrix of a large flange plane (12a) toward the grinding undercut (13), in an inner race (10), is set as a reference point (O2), a thinned-part width (A) is 0.5 mm or less, where A represents the width of a thinned-part of the grinding undercut (13), that is from the reference point (O2) to the large flange plane (12a).
