Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a target detection method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a storage medium. The method comprises: processing a target pupil image by using a first target detection module so as to obtain a first result comprising initial position information of a pupil to be positioned in the target pupil image; capturing a pupil region image from the target pupil image on the basis of the initial position information of said pupil; and processing the pupil region image by using a second target detection module so as to obtain a second result, the second result comprising final position information of said pupil and the probability that an object in the pupil region image is a pupil. Both the first target detection module and the second target detection module can use, for example, a simple convolutional neural network for modeling, and upon comparison with the use of complex target detection algorithms such as YOLO, Faster RCNN, and SSD for target detection, the computational complexity is low, the method is suitable for being applied to an embedded device having low computational performance, such as a fundus camera, and the detection speed is high.
