Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a target detection method, comprising: determining a target object in a first image captured by a first image capture device; estimating a position at which the target object appears in a second image captured by a second image capture device; determining whether an object at the second position is identical to the target object; if they are identical, recording the second position as the position of the target object in the second image. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, by means of estimating a position at which a target object appears in a second image and determining whether an object in a second position is identical to the target object, it is possible to establish a relationship between a first image capture device and a second image capture device, and it is not necessary for the second image capture device to detect anew the target object in a second image, making tracking a target object a coherent action, helping prevent target object tracking loss or error.
