Abstract:
This target molecule detection method involves: a step for preparing a fluid device provided with a substrate and a well array arranged on the substrate; a step for feeding into the fluid device well array a liquid in which target molecule-containing structures are dispersed, and introducing the structures into the wells of the well array; a step for feeding a sealing solution into the well array to form a layer of the sealing solution on the top layer of the liquid introduced into the wells, sealing the liquid inside the wells; a step for extracting target molecules from the structures; and a step for detecting the target molecules.
