Abstract:
This target vehicle speed generation device (12) comprises: a generation unit (32) that generates, at a predetermined timing, a target value group including a vehicle speed for controlling the driving of a vehicle in a predetermined section; and a setting unit (30) that sets, in advance, a target vehicle speed at an endpoint of the section in which the vehicle is currently driving, the target vehicle speed being used in cases where the generation unit (32) cannot generate, at said predetermined timing, said target value group including the vehicle speed, the setting unit (30) setting the target vehicle speed on the basis of road information in said predetermined section.
