Abstract:
The present invention relates to a target-selective nanocomposite based on folic acid-conjugated aminoclay (FA-AC), a preparation method therefor and a use thereof. According to the present invention, the nanocomposite is formed by binding FA-AC to a drug, and thus target selectivity is increased, and further, by coating the surface of the nanocomposite with a pH-sensitive polymer, the encapsulated drug exhibits improved stability within the gastrointestinal tract, and as a result, the treatment effect of the drug may be notably enhanced. The nanocomposite of the present invention has a folate receptor as a target and thus may be applied as a drug carrier that is effective for the prevention and treatment of inflammatory disease or cancer in which the folate receptor is overexpressed.
