Abstract:
A target tracking device (1) is provided with: a plurality of nth order echo tracking filter units (3-n), where n is an integer greater than or equal to 1, for creating target track candidates from target information observed by a radar (2) with the premise that the target information includes target detection omission and mistaken target detection and under the assumption that a target to be observed is at a distance observable with nth order echoes; a track reliability calculation unit (4) for calculating track reliabilities expressing the likelihoods of the track candidates created by the plurality of nth order echo tracking filter units (3-n) with the premise that the target information includes target detection omission and mistaken target detection; and a track determination unit (6) for determining the track from among the track candidates created by the plurality of nth order echo tracking filter units (3-n) to display on a display device (7) on the basis of the track reliabilities calculated by the track reliability calculation unit (4).
