Abstract:
A target tracking method and tracking system based on a variable coefficient α-β filter, which are suitable for the field of multi-sensor information fusion. The method comprises the steps of: first, according to an object moment and a Dirac item at a previous time, predicting an object moment and a Dirac item of an object already existing at the previous time at a current time, and designating corresponding object moments and Dirac items for objects newly generated at the current time; then, determining updated Dirac items using a variable coefficient α-β filter in combination with the position measurement at the current time; and then conducting cutting and merging on the updated Dirac items to obtain the object moment and the Dirac item at the current time, and taking the object moment and the Dirac item of the current time as the input of the recurrence at the next time; and finally, extracting a Dirac item of which the weighting coefficient is greater than a first threshold value as the output of the current time, wherein the object state value in the output Dirac item is a state value of an object at the current time.
