Title:
TARGET FOR TREATING HEPATITIS B VIRUS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/201605
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a target for treating a Hepatitis B virus, and a use of the target in preparing a drug for treating the Hepatitis B virus. AKT and mTOR proteins as novel targets in an anti-HBV treatment have an improved anti-viral effect compared to the nucleoside analogue drug Tenofovir, and can reduce and clear HBV cccDNA, addressing the problem in which current antiviral drugs are unable to clear Hepatitis B cccDNA and relapse easily occurs; the invention thus has good prospects of wide medical application.
