Abstract:
A task scheduling method using regular expressions and an electronic device applying the same are provided. The task scheduling method, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: setting a sleep time using a next execution time and a current time when the next execution time after the current time coincides with a regular expression for a task schedule time; and performing a scheduled task when the sleep time has elapsed. Thereby, the present invention can minimize the inconvenience of and the effort and time required for configuring duplicate task schedules by simply and flexibly setting various task schedules which are set in various dates and times.
