Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a TCAM entry updating method and apparatus, and a TCAM. The updating method comprises: obtaining all stored information stored in a TCAM entry; determining whether all the stored information has stored information that is the same as preprocessed information, so as to obtain the determining result; and updating the TCAM entry according to the determining result. The disclosure resolves the problem in the related art of waste of resources when same stored information is stored in a TCAM, thereby effectively reducing the resource utilization of the TCAM, and increasing the processing capacity of the TCAM when storage resources of the TCAM are limited.
