Abstract:
Disclosed is a TE mode multi-passband dielectric filter capable of solving a problem in which conventional multi-passband filters have complex designs and low out-of-band rejection. The TE mode multi-passband dielectric filter comprises a TE mode dielectric resonator (5), a supporting post (20), a dielectric tuning rod (8), a tuning dial (6), a circularly curved metal member (2) for controlling port coupling, an input/output interface (3), a cavity (1), and an inter-cavity coupling structure (13). A multi-passband response is realized by setting heights of the dielectric tuning rod (8) and the tuning dial (6). The TE mode dielectric resonator (5) performs inter-resonator coupling by means of the inter-cavity coupling structure (13). The circularly curved metal member (2) is used to perform feed coupling. By combining and the same with an out-of-band rejection method for a dielectric filter of the invention, the circularly curved metal member (2) can be arranged in different manners so as to set transmission zeros at the left and right sides of a frequency band, thereby improving out-of-band rejection of the filter. The invention has a high Q value, can be designed and processed easily, and has favorable out-of-band rejection.
