Abstract:
Disclosed are a teabag which is excellent in terms of mass producibility and can also be easily removed from a PET bottle, and a method for producing the same. A teabag (1) comprises a bag body (2) containing tealeaves (3). The bag body (2) is placed in a PET bottle in order to release tea extract from the tealeaves. The bag body (2) comprises a first side surface and a second side surface which are formed by a water-permeable sheet member. The first and second side surfaces are formed as a single piece comprising a trapezoidal upper section (21) which is formed with a shape that gradually tapers towards the tip end, and a rectangular lower section (22). As a result, the bag body (2) is shaped like a truncated baseball home base.
